The EU GCC Clean Energy Network II (CENII) in cooperation with The Petroleum Institute (PI) are organizing the Joint Meeting for the CENII Working Groups (WGs) on Carbon Capture and Storage (WG5) and on Clean Gas (WG3) on the 8th November, 2016, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. 

The CENII WG meetings on November 8 will gather industry, policy as well as research experts from the EU and the GCC to present current status and policies, best practices and technologies in the respective fields as well as to discuss on prospects and pathways to advance EU –GCC cooperation, through the Network activities. Moreover, through the invited presentations, the panel discussions and the experts’ brainstorming, the CENII team will acquire valuable information to elaborate and finetune the WGs’ workplan for the following period. 

The event is hosted in The Petroleum Institute, Petroleum Institute Research Center (PIRC), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
