GORD’s Regional Voluntary Carbon Market Program is operated through Global Carbon Trust (GCT), an initiative that aims to assist the countries in MENA region to make transition to low-carbon economies by supporting the stakeholders of the region in implementing climate actions (low carbon policies, technologies and measures); and facilitating to develop standards for GHG emission reductions for the climate actions (projects and measures) taken by the stakeholders in the region.
