Under the patronage of the H. E. Dr. Khalid Al Fadel, Minister of Oil And Minister of Electricity and Water, the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network and the Kuwait Society of Engineers are organising an EU-GCC conference on Smart Grids Technologies.
“Hydrogen: Bridging Sectors and Regions” is organised within the 24th World Energy Congress as a side event on Tuesday 10 September 2019 and will address new perspectives on ongoing low-carbon hydrogen initiatives, provide insights on cutting-edge technology developments, address systems aspects including safety and will inform the debate on hydrogen’s future role in global energy markets. High-level international experts will present their work and will exchange views in interactive moderated panels.
Within the framework of EUSEW 2019 at the Networking Village - Energy Fair, on Thursday 20 June 2019 from 09:00 to 12:30, the Network organises a half-day session, entitled "Clean Energy in the EU and GCC".
The EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Muscat and the Oman Water Society, organise an EU-GCC event to be hosted alongside to the Oman Energy & Water 2019.
For one year the Network is partnering with Intersolar Middle East and is contributing to the conference agenda. Specifically, the second of the conference (March 6th) which focuses on Electrical Energy Storage, Dr Mustapha Taoumi, Network’s Clean Energy Technology Expert
The Network will be represented at the 3rd IEF-EU Energy Day by Dr. Mustapha Taoumi, Clean Energy Technology Expert.
The “Fostering EU and GCC collaboration on Energy Efficiency, Emissions to Value and the economic benefits and value of reducing and/or avoiding emissions” event will be held in Muscat, Oman on 17 January 2019 and the topics to be presented and discussed are:

The 7th EU Energy Day "Towards an integrated clean energy transition: the role of sector coupling" is organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Energy and the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network and takes place in Abu Dhabi, as part of the World Future Energy Summit 2019. The EU Energy Day is scheduled for 14 January 2019 at 14:00 – 17:00.
Under the patronage of the Minister of State for Housing and Chairman of Public Authority for Housing Welfare H.E. Dr. Jenan Boushehri, the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network in partnership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers and in association with MESIA is organising an EU-GCC Workshop on Solar Energy Technologies.
